Saturday July 11th marked one of the most magical days of my life. I married the love of my life, Corey, and celebrated our wedding day with our closest friends and family. I can’t believe how quickly the year flew by; it felt like just yesterday Corey proposed on The Social and changed my life forever.
The wedding itself was everything I could’ve imagined and more – but most especially my dress. I selected a hand-beaded Zuhair Murad wedding gown from Kleinfeld Canada. It reminded me of a sparkling glass of champagne: romantic, etherial and delicately sexy (I think Beyonce would be proud). I went in with an open mind and when I laid eyes on it, I knew it was the one. The rest of the process was equally enjoyable – the staff and seamstresses at Kleinfeld Hudson’s Bay were outstanding, offering the best in service and precise tailoring. To top it off, I added a beautiful bird cage veil from David Dunkley.
But that wasn’t all… I ended up wearing two other equally stunning Naeme Khan short & sweet options throughout the night. One was a Gatsby-esk fringe number during my first dance with Corey (it was choreographed by our friends over at Dance with TLC) and the second was for the late night party with beautiful sequins and feathers.
Here’s a few pictures of my dress and our wedding day – and stay tuned for more later this year in Wedding Bells Magazine!
