My personal style (day-to-day wear) marries comfort and fashion, which is why I always look to Parisian style for inspiration. French women seem to have mastered effortlessly chic dressing that has quickly become a quintessential look for women all over world. The best part about the neutral-centric, simplistic layering, minimalist look is you can attain it, with any budget.
To prove it, I made my way over to Forever 21 to create a Parisian-inspired H-T-T look for UNDER $150.
To my delight, I found a pair of high-waisted denim with lace-up stitching that instantly reminded me of French designer and Paris Fashion Week regular, Isabel Marant (at a fraction of the price might I add), and paired it with a basic boxy white tee. I then threw on an over-sized neutral cardi as the perfect fall topper and a chunky knit fold-over beanie in black. I finished the look with a pair of basic kicks, but if you’re looking to elevate this casual-chic ensemble, opt for a pointed pump in black.
